The Law School Signed Cooperation& Co-construction Agreement with Jingzhou Judicial Bureau and Awarded the Doctoral Program Workstation as well as Law Practice Base

On the morning of July 15, the secretary of the Party Committee, Yang Chen, the dean, Ding Wen, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Wan Zong, the vice-president, Xiao Denghui of Law School, the director of Juris Master Education Center, Wang Qingjun and some other attendees left for Jingzhou Judicial Bureau to develop cooperation and co-construction. The secretary of the Party Committee of Jingzhou Judicial Bureau, Wang Tongyi, the director general, Wen Yulian, deputy director general, Fu Xiaobing and other leaders were present at the signing ceremony.


 

Wang Tongyi, the secretary of the Party Committee of Jingzhou Judicial Bureau, sincerely welcomed leaders and teachers of the Law School. He said, CCNU Law School had not only a long history, but also abundant strength, and signing cooperation agreement with Law School was a good start for further win-win cooperation between two sides. In the next step, both sides would rely on their representative resource advantages to enrich cooperation forms, expand cooperation contents and improve cooperation effects, in the meantime, they were going to focus on making joint efforts in carrying out Party affairs, personnel training, business exchanges, social services and subject research to strive for win-win results.

 

 

Yang Chen, the secretary of the Party Committee, expressed that based on the cooperation agreement, the Law School would established CCNU Law Major Practice Base and Doctor Workstation of Public Policy and Rule. Moreover, he emphasized that he hoped the two sides could explore the new mode of cultivating legal talents and discuss new topics of legal research collectively through sharing resources and reinforcing complementary advantages, in order to stimulate the benign interaction between legal education research and judicial practice.



Then, the dean of Law school Ding Wen, introduced the fundamental situations of the Law School. The Law School is one of the earliest non-normal majors in CCNU, and also one of the first institutions to train master of Law in China. Now, the school has two undergraduate majors: law and intellectual property. It also owns a first-level master's program in law and a second-level doctoral program in Public Policy and Rule of Law. Many faculty members of the college are employed as advisors to provincial, municipal, legislative and judicial organs, and participate in legislative, judicial, policy and legal advisory work. Meanwhile, he expressed good wishes for the smooth cooperation between the two sides.



In the signing and awarding process, Dean Ding Wen signed the Comprehensive and In-depth Cooperation Framework Agreement with Director Wen Yulian of Jingzhou Bureau of Justice on behalf of the Law School. Deputy secretary Wang Zong and vice president Wen Jie of the Party Committee of the Law School respectively awarded the license to Jingzhou Bureau of Justice on behalf of the Law School. Through discussions and exchanges, both sides expressed the desire to strengthen cooperation, close contact and common promotion in the future.



On the afternoon of July 15, a group of Law School students went to Jiefang Judicial Institute in Shacheng District of Jingzhou City, Dongcheng Judicial Institute in Jingzhou District of Jingzhou City and Chengnan Judicial Institute in Jingzhou District of Jingzhou City respectively to carry out field research. From the basic security, staff, daily work and other aspects of the judicial Institute, they had in-depth communication with the staff of the judicial Institute.
