In the question and answer session, Mr. Yu answered and responded mainly focusing on students questions about “how to resolve the negative impact of native family”. He indicated that the impact of the original family had both positive and negative sides, but the individuals were more likely to focus on the negative impact of the moment, often easy to ignore the positive one and took it for granted. It was very complicated to solve this problem, but we could try to dissociate from the question to hold a clearer and more comprehensive view of the family’s influence on individuals, then weigh and judge its proportion of positive and negative. We would find that although there were imperfections of the family, it gave us more positive influences, and we could get on well with it.

The students commented that this lecture let them have a deeper understanding of native families and intimate relationships. “Mr. Yu used film sections as introduction and explained through cases close to our experiences, which inspired the resonance in the bottom of my heart. I hope everyone can inherit more virtue from native families and manage every intimate relationship better in the future.”
