Unwittingly，eighteen years have passed since I came to this word. The childhood seems to have been so long ago, however, still vivid in my mind as well. On the journey of growth, I have gradually drifted away from the initial self, but there is something that has never changed yet.
不经意间，距来到这个世界已经过去了十八载，童年时光似乎已是很久以前，却又历历在目。在成长路途中，我已经与最初的自己渐行渐远，但又有什么一直不曾改变。
When I was a child, I often dreamed of growing up, but now, I look forward to go back to childhood at all times. At eighteen years old, when my life came to its turning point, I begin to slightly comprehend what it indeed means to grow up.
小时候常常盼望着长大，可现在却总梦想能回到那时。十八岁，在这个生命历程的转折时刻，我才隐约理解了成长到底意味着什么。
Probably, growth is the process from being unilaterally concerned by parents to my actively calling and caring about them, from always snuggling around parents to daring to go out alone and travel far away from home, from being too timid to express my ideas in front of people to being bold in standing on the rostrum to speak fluently, from thinking highly of myself and resisting mediocrity to estimating myself rationally; from always being vacant and doing nothing to holding a clear goal and striving for it…
也许，从总是父母单方面的嘘寒问暖到自己主动打电话关心父母，就是成长；从总是依偎在父母身边寸步不离，到敢于独自一人出门闯荡，离家远行，就是成长；从怯于在众人面前表达自己的想法，到可以坦然站在讲台上侃侃而谈，就是成长；从自视甚高、不甘平淡，到学会理性地认识自己，就是成长；从总是浑浑噩噩、无所事事，到有了清晰的目标，并为之砥砺奋进，就是成长……
We cannot see or distinctly define what growth is, but it has been imperceptibly changing us throughout the time. The only thing we can specify is that growth means we are getting better.
我们看不到也不能明确定义什么是成长，可它始终在潜移默化中改变我们。唯一可以确定的是，成长意味着我们在变得更好。
While there is change, of course, there is invariant. The people who accompany us to grow up have always been around us. The desire of my childhood to achieve some accomplishment in the future always stays the same. The persistent enthusiasm and vitality to the dream have never changed ...
存在变化的同时当然也存在着不变。陪伴着我们长大的人一直在我们身边，幼时渴望将来有所成就的心愿始终如一，对梦想那股执着的热情与活力一直不曾改变……
It is bound to be a lot of frustration in the process of growth, but it will not hinder the original aspiration that I shall always keep moving forward at all. We generally think that youth is just a heart beat, whereas in fact it is not just a period of time or external beauty, but internal mentality. As long as we maintain a favorable state of mood, youth will always be there.
成长途中一定会遇到不少坎坷，但这丝毫不会阻挡那颗始终保持前进的初心。我们常以为青春只在弹指一挥间，可实际上青春不是年华、外在的容颜，而是内在的心态。只要我们保持良好的心境，青春将能永驻。
We can ' t control what had happened in the past, but can grasp every second upcoming. Eventually, I would like to say to myself in the past : Now that you have done it, you should not regret, and to myself in the future : Do not forget your original aspiration.
我们无法左右已经过去的一切，却可以把握即将到来的每分每秒。我想对过去的自己说：落子无悔；对未来的自己说：不忘初心。
