The Music School of CCNU held a special meeting on student employment on March 19. The people present at the meeting were Feng Shengbing, Communist Party secretary, Chen Xiaogang, deputy Communist Party secretary, Zhang Yemao and Zhan Yihong, vice presents of the Music School of CCNU. Senior class teachers, instructors and teaching secretaries also attended the meeting together.
Fu Biao, senior instructor explained “The Special Action Implementation Plan to Promote Student Employment by Visiting Corporations and Increasing Jobs”. It put forward that they needed to pertinently carry out the work on promoting student employment by visiting corporations and increasing jobs，and they can implement and advance it by combining with alumni work, enrollment work and so on. The plan was discussed at the meeting and modification comments and suggestions were also put forward.
Then, Chen Xiaogang reported situations of undergraduate and postgraduate employment. He introduced and analyzed student employment according to their work destinations. And he analyzed and reported from multiple angles according to different majors and classes.
Opinions on “Some Measures on Further Improving the Employment of Graduates in the Music School of CCNU” were solicited at the meeting. Revolving around the overall planning of employment, implementing work responsibilities, doing a good job in employment services, improving incentive policies, improving the ability and quality of employment and so on, the measures put forward several practical and effective ways including visiting corporations and increasing jobs, setting up an employment information service team, regularly reporting situations of employment, rewarding students for employment, establishing a student quality development center and so on to add warmth and speed to the work of employment.
Student employment work and relevant measures were fully discussed at the meeting. People put forward lots of constructive opinions. Next the school would further carry out research of student employment, strengthen employment training, establish and publicize typical employment, improve the talent training plan, promote the development of employment market and so on to strengthen and improve student employment work.
Finally, Feng Shengbing pointed out: First, see a turnaround in a crisis. The current employment situation is severe, but the recruitment requirements of middle and primary school teachers are still steady and increasing and jobshavn’t decreased as a whole. Second, strengthen the guidance of the employment concepts of graduates. Currently there are situations where graduates obtain employment slowly and part of graduates only want to go to large and medium-sized cities so there is need to strengthen the guidance of the employment concepts of graduates. Third, the work of visiting corporations and increasing jobs need to combine with alumni work and the construction of internship base and enrollment work needs to be carried out in combination, with overall arrangement and harmonious promotion. Relevant leaders need to combine with their work and select, promote and develop corresponding routes. Feng also put forward some ideas and advice on “Some Measures on Further Improving the Employment of Graduates in the Music School of CCNU”.
Feng emphasized that in the face of the impact of the epidemic, having a special discussion about student employment, making relevant measure and taking out several practical and effective ways was very necessary. Student employment is a systematic work and covers the whole process of enrollment and training. It needs everyone’s joint efforts. Next, they would continue mobilizing and let more forces participate in the work of helping students get employment.
