The Voice of CCNU Online News of School of Public Administration On the afternoon of April 25th, the first session of the Psychological Committee Exchange Meeting of School of Public Administration "Meet the Mind" was held at N9042, South Lake Comprehensive Building. Undergraduate counselor Li Li, graduate counselor Liao Wei, and psychology committees of all grades attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zong Jiamin, a part-time postgraduate counselor.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ma Wangrong, a 2021 doctoral student of our school, made an experience exchange. Based on the work experience of counselors, Ma Wangrong introduced by many cases and explained the work responsibilities and positioning of psychological committee members from the aspects of problem discovery, communication skills, and emergency response. He hoped that the younger student brothers and sisters should not only be the facilitators of bad emotions, but also the discoverers of psychological crises, and the communicator of mental health knowledge.

In the exchange speech session, the psychology committees of all grades conducted exchanges and discussions on their recent work. Feng Ru, a 2019 undergraduate student, said that the main responsibility of the psychology committee was to listen to the demands of the students and accompanied them to grow up healthily. Ji Xu, a 2020 postgraduate student, believed that academic problems were an important factor that plagues students, and it was necessary to provide more care and support for students from the perspective of mentoring relationship.

In the summary, Mr. Li Li expressed her gratitude to the psychological committee members for their efforts. She said that psychological committee members should not only improve their own psychological adjustment ability, but also have love, patience, enthusiasm, and carefulness, and be the "lookout post", "buffer belt" and "megaphone" for the classmates around them, and gave full play to the role of good peers in mutual psychological assistance. She asked that the psychological committee should strengthen the study of mental health education knowledge, improve the ability to deal with psychological work, and optimize work methods to help others and themselves.

It was reported that the "Meet the Heart" series of activities of School of Public Administration would be held once a month to pay close attention to the dynamics of students' mental health, and gathered psychological education resources in the form of mutual learning and mutual promotion, professional guidance, and group counseling, aiming to promote psychological committee’s improvement of mental health work skills such as heart-to-heart talk, identification and assistance, etc. Gave full play to the positive role of peers in accurate discovery and effective mutual assistance in students' mental health education work.
