The voice of CCNU On March 9, CCNU held the meeting of political work cadres of college students in the spring semester of 2022, involving Chen Diming who is deputy secretary of the Party committee and director of Office of Student Affairs of the Party committee, the responsible people of the Student Work Department of the Party committee, directors of each cultivation units responsible for student affairs, counselors of undergraduates and graduate students. The meeting was hosted by Chen Diming, deputy secretary of the Party committee.
Yang Jun, deputy director of the Office of Student Affairs of the Party committee and director of the affairs office, introduced the key points of student affairs of 2022. Surrounding the theme of “carrying out warm education when sticking to the pattern of student-centered”, director Yang stressed that we should take the Party construction and ideological and political work as guidance, attach great importance to team construction, rely on Neusoft Education Technology as platform, focus on employment and psychology work, further promote ideological and political education to achieve high-quality development. Referring to three aspects and eleven sections involving “stick to the bottom line of safe and stabilization, create a cozy and harmonious cultivation environment” “ensure that livelihood work put into practice, build a warm cultivation pattern” “promote teachers and students to develop in an all-round way, build a mild brand”, he explained the specific measures of implementing “warm education”.
Wang Maosheng, deputy director of the Office of Student Affairs of the Party committee and director of the employment department, arranged employment work of new semester. Director Wang informed employment progress of the Class of 2022 of CCNU, stressed through the ways of“paying attention to directions of further education” “paying attention to actively seeking jobs” “paying attention to ensuring the directions as soon as possible” to promote graduates’ employment as soon and more as possible. He pointed that CCNU should strive to perfect the linkage mechanism of enrollment and employment, implement the mechanism that the team members of the Office of School Affairs of the Party committee contact colleges of different zones and inform employment progress, further improve the assessment and incentive of employment work, and take various measures to promote graduates to achieve more fruitful and higher quality employment.
Wang Dongshuang, the director of security office, summarized safe campus construction situation of our school of 2021, and assigned the tasks involving campus security maintenance cases, telecommunications network fraud and so on which are concerned with students. Director Wang stressed that CCNU is going to fully advance “seven safeguards project” construction of campus safety involving people safeguard, objects safeguard, skills safeguard, heart safeguard, battlefield safeguard, environment safeguard, mechanism safeguard, further launch a campaign to regulate campus safety, further improve the comprehensive prevention and control system of campus safety, deepen comprehensive management of campus, prudently deal with various emergencies, strive to construct a campus which is “smart, beautiful, orderly, quiet, safe”.
Ma Ni, Secretary of the School Youth League Committee, introduced key points of work of the School Youth League Committee in 2022. Secretary Ma said that School Youth League Committee would regard Centenary of the founding of the Communist Youth League as an opportunity and “cultivating contemporary talents with imprint of CCNU” as work philosophy, make great effort to build three projects involving thought leading project, teenagers strengthen voices project, culture cultivation project, strive for organization construction, foundation construction, team construction and digital Communist Youth League Construction, promote the high-quality development of College Youth League Work of the new period.
Li Diao, deputy director of the Office of Student Affairs of the Party committee and director of Ideological and Political Department, assigned immediate and major work involving job examination for counselors, epidemic prevention and control, psychological health and security and stability. Director Li explained the background of examination from three aspects involving work orientation, improving quality and evaluation basis, emphasized key points involving assessment for work process, evaluation for related objects. He pointed that mental health education should put emphasis on the essentials, build teams, refine and be rigorous, making requests for the work of students’ mental health education.
Chen Diming, deputy secretary of the Party committee, spoke to summarize. Director Chen pointed that “warm education” is education of “love”, which is understanding students, respecting students and serving students, a kind of education of facilitating the growth of students and developing the talents of students through comprehensive care, and appealed to student political work cadres to devote themselves to student affairs with emotion and warmth. He emphasized four key tasks again involving mental health education, counselor team construction, employment work and Neusoft Education Technology. He made three requests for practice: First is sticking to down-to-earth working attitude and putting care for students in place; Second is sticking to working realm of “pursue excellence” and promoting the high-quality development of student affairs; Third is sticking to the team spirit of “come together through thick and thin” and striving to cultivate the brand image of student affairs. He hoped that students political work cadres can strengthen collective consciousness, pay attention to individual construction and work style, work together, strive to build a student affairs team with the spirits of“dare to think, do and fight”，continue to make a fresh start of student affairs of CCNU!
It is reported that undergraduates and graduate students have returned to school successfully since the beginning of school. Perfect order reigned throughout the management of students. All the students finished 4 rounds of nucleic acid detection. The ideological education, transaction management, employment recruitment and team training were carried out in order.
