In the afternoon of March 6, SKY Youth "Talk" – the Round Table activity of School of Life Sciences was successfully held. The event was hosted by Shanshuang, a member of the Secretary Office of the Youth League of the College, and was attended by the official and reserve members of the "SKY New Youth Speak", the secretaries of the General Committee of the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021, the head of the Theory and Learning Department and the secretaries of each branch, and all members of the Theory and Learning Department of the Youth League of the College.
At the beginning of the activity, under the leadership of Shanshung, all members learned the basic knowledge of the "two sessions" through two short videos, understood the status and functions of the two sessions, and the importance of the "two sessions" to the operation of the country. Afterwards, Shanshuang shared a short video of Premier Li Keqiang's government report at the event, showing and explaining the report card of China's achievements during 2021-2022 and the tasks of the Chinese government in 2022, in order to give members a deep understanding of China's development goals and policies in 2022.
Then, the activity entered the stage of sharing the learning experience by the party representatives. The first speaker was party member representative Yan Weiwei, who compared the development situation at home and abroad in 2021, highly praised the current development of China under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, and expressed his admiration and approval of the "two sessions" policy on topics such as "rural revitalization", "vegetable basket and rice bag". After that, the participants had a heated discussion on the topic of "How to realize the party building to drive the league building and further lead the league members' thinking". Using the example of group day activities as the main entry point, Shanshuang guided the members to make interesting and innovative proposals, and to think about how to implement knowledge from all levels of the group's branches to the majority of students at the grassroots level in a phased manner.
Finally, Shanshuang made a systematic summary and called on young students to pay more attention to party and political knowledge and national events in their daily lives and implement the study and propaganda of party and political knowledge.
This activity guided the group supporters to study the important speeches of the two sessions, strengthened the communication between the theoretical study department of the league committee and the grade theory study department, the party branch and the group branch, formed the learning way of excellent party members leading excellent group members in the construction of the party and group, and enhanced the ideological leading role.
