At noon on March 2, the second Plenary meeting of the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences was successfully held in 5301 Lecture Hall. This meeting was presided over by Pei Huijiao, a member of the Presidium of the Executive Committee of the Student Council of the Faculty, and attended by Xu Chenyang, the new Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Tang Jiaqi, all members of the Student Council of the Faculty, and all student delegates of the 13th Student Representative assembly.
In the first item of the meeting, Tang Jiaqi announced the relevant decisions of the college. According to the decision on the appointment and removal of Xu Chenyang and other comrades of the Committee of the School of Life Sciences of the CCNU, Tang Jiaqi announced Xu Chenyang as the secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Life Sciences.
Then, Mr. Tang Jiaqi sent a message to the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences. He first reviewed the nine-year relationship between himself and the Student Council, and mentioned that the Student Council has to welcome the 20th Party Congress and the centennial of the Communist Youth League this year, as well as to organize the 120th anniversary of the university next year, which is a big task, and at the same time, the work of the Student Council also needs to be summarized and sorted out, and he hoped that under the leadership of Mr. Xu, we can continue to carry forward the good quality of the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences and do a good job in the Student Council, and said that he would still remember the spirit of the School of Life Sciences and continue to shine in other positions.
After that, Xu Chenyang also sent a message to the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences. She first introduced her current job in the college and her work experience in the Student Council during her school years. She hoped that she can grow up together with everyone in the process of working and getting along with each other in the future, and she also hoped that the students can gain something from the work of the Student Council.
After reviewing the important point of the centennial of the founding of the Communist Youth League, Xu Chenyang put forward three kinds of preparation for student work - political and ideological preparation, business literacy preparation, and preparation for performing duties, as well as three kinds of ability - organizational and communication ability, unity and and innovation. She hoped that in the new semester, we can always test whether we are ready for these three kinds of preparation and whether we have these three abilities, and always adhere to the work concept of "serving the growth of youth and cultivating talents" in our work, so as to truly "think what our students think and sense the urgency of our students ", and strive to build our Student council, so that it can really achieve the work goals of quality, characteristics, service and innovation. Finally, Xu Chenyang hoped that all of us could always keep in mind that "gathering is a fire, scattering is a sky full of stars, flying together is a flock of geese, flying alone is an eagle", and we can welcome the centennial of the founding of the Communist Youth League and the 20th CPC National Congress with the latest development.
At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences presented bouquets to Mr. Tang Jiaqi and Ms. Xu Chenyang to express the appreciation and respect of the Student Council to Mr. Tang Jiaqi for his decades of hard work in the grassroots council committee and training a large number of outstanding student cadres in the Student Council, as well as to welcome Ms. Xu Chenyang to the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences family.
In a group photo, the second Plenary Session of the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences ended successfully. This meeting made everyone deeply aware of their responsibilities. Although the task is significant this year, we believe that the Student Council of the School of Life Sciences will be able to make continuous progress and serve the students better.
