In order to celebrate the 112th anniversary of the March 8th International Working Women's Day, on March 8th, the female staff symposium concerning “Excellent Females Follow the CPC, Constructing the New Era of China” was held in the lecture hall on the first floor of the science hall. Besides, she also insisted on lighting up the beauty of struggle, writing the paper on the motherland, doing scientific researches in the minds of the people, taking teaching as a kind of practice, showing excellent females in creating new achievements.
Zhao Lingyun and Hao Fanghua awarded the National Women's Civilization Post Medal to the Chinese Department of the College of Literature, and Wuhan Women's Civilization Post Medal to the Ideological and Moral and Legal Education and Research Department of the School of Marxism.
