Zhuangzi said, "You can go back, I also choose to live happily in the muddy water, and thus dismissed the envoy.
周国平说：唯有在孤独中，人才能与灵魂相遇。庄子因对孤独的独特享受而名声在外。一日，楚国想让庄子任相国便派人前往游说，恰逢庄子正在钓鱼，庄子借题发挥问前来的使臣"听闻楚国有一只神龟三千余岁，死后尸骨被放在庙堂供人参拜，使者啊，假如你是这只龟你宁愿死后被人崇拜呢还是一直在泥水中快活呢？"使者不假思索的回答"当然是在泥水中快活更好"。庄子说：那你们回去吧，我也选择在泥水中快活，以此打发了来人。
Not everyone indeed likes to be alone, and it is human nature to be confused and uncertain in the face of loneliness, but we also need the courage to face loneliness. How can we achieve self-discipline and self-control if we never dare to feel lonely and take a step towards independence? Just as Zhuangzi that "in and out of the six, travel to the nine states, alone, is unique. A unique person is the most valuable." This is the true meaning of solitude in its profundity. Only when you can be free from all things can you have the realm of a free personality.
的确，并不是所有人都喜欢孤独，面对孤独迷茫彷徨是人之本性，可我们也需要勇气来面对孤独。从不敢感受孤独，踏出独立的一步，又怎能做到自律自控？恰如庄子那句"出入六合，游乎九州，独往独来，是谓独有。独有之人，是谓至贵。"于深邃中道尽了孤独的真谛。只有能做到摆脱万物羁绊，才能拥有自由的人格境界。
As we can see, loneliness is a normal part of life, but it is worth considering what attitude to use to face it.
可见，孤独是生活中的常态，用什么姿态面对孤独才值得深思。
Solitude is what Jiang Xun calls "the beginning of a complete life". Everyone is an island on the spiritual level, and without the experience of living with oneself, how can one live with oneself? Loneliness is a part of life. Learning to enjoy loneliness can make one feel the value of independent thinking. When one can be lonely, one can slowly experience the splendor of the flower of life blooming.
孤独是蒋勋所说的"生命圆满的开始"，每个人在精神层面都是一座孤岛，没有与自己相处的经验，又如何能与自己相伴一生。孤独是生活的一部分，学会享受孤独，能让自己感受到独立思考的价值，当一个人真正做到能与孤独相伴时，才能慢慢体会生命之花绽放的精彩。
