（Correspondents: Meiheri Guli, Zhang Meng, Remila) In order to implement the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people in universities, improve the effectiveness of home-school cooperation in educating people, and further implement work requirements for carrying out the practice activities of party members and cadres at the grassroots level to observe the people's conditions, solve the people's worries and warm the people's hearts from the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and CCNU. The Student Work Department of the Party Committee will carry out the "Building Dreams and Peering Together" home visit work in 2022. From July 7th to 11th, a home visiting team composed of 7 political cadres from our school visited student’s family in Tibet district.
The home visiting team was led by Wu Jiancheng, deputy director of the Student Work Department, composed by Li Fanghong, deputy director of the Alumnus Work Office, Rao Yanping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Yang Guoqiang, market information director of the Employment Office of the Student Work Department, and three counselors. They visited nearly 20 student families in the inner Lhasa and surrounding districts and counties.

When visiting Gesang, a student from Caigongtang town in Lhasa, Wu Jiancheng handed the photos of Gesang's participation in school activities to Gesang's mother, and told her about Gesang's study and life in the school in detail. This work introduced the various work carried out by the school for the cultivation of ethnic students, answered the parents' confusion about the career development and career planning of the school's public-funded normal students, and listened carefully to the parents' opinions and suggestions on the school's talent training. Along the way, at every home, the home visiting team would hand over the students’ life photos, school brochures and condolences to the parents of the students, so that the parents could truly feel that the students’ study life in school were full of happiness, security and the sense of gain.

When visiting Zhuoga, a student in Najin town, Li Fanghong had an in-depth understanding of the situation of the students' families, introduced in detail the employment guidance provided by the CCNU for ethnic students, exchanged views on the students' future development with parents, and encouraged the students to inherit the family's perseverance quality and carry forward CCNU liberal spirit, solidly training skills, live up to the expectations of the family and school. The altitude of 4000 meters thins the oxygen, but made the feelings more fiery. The home visiting team learned about the family stories of nearly 20 Tibetan students through visits, and spread the double Jiazi dream of CCNU from the land of Jingchu to the snowy plateau.
“Teacher Rao, I am part of the Excellent Teacher Program. In the future, I will return to my hometown to teach and impart knowledge to Tibetan students! Let more Tibetan students go abroad to gain knowledge and come back to build Tibet!"
When visiting Tsering, a student in Dangxiong County, the home visiting team saw the dense and slightly mottled "Wall of Honor". The parents proudly introduced the origin of each certificate to the home visiting team. Rao Yanping encouraged students to strive to be the "newcomers of the times" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. Tsering said that he should continue to inherit the spirit of CCNU and contribute himself to the development of education in his hometown.
"To set great aspirations, to be virtuous, to become great talents, and to take on great responsibilities", CCNU family visiting team came to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and passed on the school's care and love to the students' homes, so that parents can feel at ease and rest assured, and guide students to consciously integrate patriotism, strong national aspirations, and serving the country into the vivid practice of realizing their ideals in life and career, which had strengthened the aspiration of Tibetan students to strive to be newcomers of the times.
The Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee has fully carried forward the great love spirit of "Love in CCNU". Since 2018, it has carried out the special activity of "Student Home Visits in Frontier Areas" for five consecutive years, and visited nearly 200 students' families. The educational results have gradually emerged, and parents and students have responded well. Consolidate the joint efforts of home and school to educate people, continuously expand the breadth and depth of exchanges and integration of various ethnic groups, and contribute CCNU power to the further strengthening of the consciousness of the Chinese nation's community.
