For commemorating the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China(CPC) as well as cultivation the spirit of keeping in mind your dreams and your missions, on July 1st, The “Pursue on the Silk Road”social practice team of CCNU uniting entire party members of the educational system of Yatuer Village Baicheng County Xinjiang organized an activity then visited the cavalry militia company of Laohutai Village Baicheng County, whose purpose was admiring the deeds of the heroes, looking back to these eventful years, at the meantime, playing the movement of spirit for this summer social practice campaign.
The social practice team participated in the flag-raising ceremony together with the whole teachers of Yatuer Village, celebrated the anniversary of the founding of CPC with the solemn melody of national anthem and the national flag raising up. Afterwards, they arrived at the cavalry company of Laohutai Village to payed to the history museum of this company.
Following the ingenious introduction of the docent, all the participants deeply had awareness of the historical missions and the great achievements of CPC, simultaneously, profoundly learned the struggle of our party for century in these glorious days. We determined on our original pursuits by understanding the history of our party, The “Pursue on the Silk Road”social practice team of CCNU would keep strive forward without letting youth down.
Then the team members with other party members learned the construction as well as development history of this cavalry company, knew its hidden illustrious story by listening the presentation of the docent, looking at the photos and exhibits, meanwhile, watching the videos, establish the dedicated conscious as well as ambitious aspiration of defending motherland and protecting our people of this military. Has been set up at 1964 and experiencing 4 commanders, the cavalry militia company of Laohutai Village, which at present is the only served cavalry militia company in China, could be dated back to 58 years ago. Enduring suffering and hardship for more than 50 years, it made remarkable contribution to maintain social stability, assist in the economic progress, provide emergency rescue and implement poverty alleviation policies. In addition, the soldiers stick to their responsibility of guarding the frontier, at the same time, sustaining peace of the region, therefore, they are called “eagles of the plateau”and were awarded “advanced unit of the national militia reserve service”.
In the end of this activity, the participants learned the growth of the urbanization as well as ecological tourism industry of Baicheng County, which stimulated them to realize the rapidly thriving economy advance of China at the new age and the sensible governance scheme in Xinjiang of our party.

Just like what a poem said: “In nature’s bosom remains the historical site, we now in our turn climb to the height”, as the youth of the new age, it requires us to keep abreast the sages, irrigate our believes with the struggling stories of our party, fertilize spirit by learning the heroic deeds of cavalry militia company of Laohutai Village. We need to continue to take our responsibility and devote ourselves to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
