The Voice of CCMU On the afternoon of May 5, the 2022 third counselor theme salon "How to Prepare for the Counselor Quality and Ability Competition, Counselor Education Story Sharing Session" was held in 403 of the College Student Activity Center. The salon was chaired by Li Xianling, deputy director of the Ideological and Political Department of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee. Hu Yu, a graduate counselor of Law School, and Meiheriguli·Abduwai, a full-time counselor for minority students, shared their experience. Some counselors participated in this activity.

Hu Yu, a graduate counselor of Law School, shared her case and experience on how to prepare for the counselor quality ability competition based on her own participation experience. She cut through the three parts of the competition, the written test, the case study and the heart-to-heart talk, and explained the key points of preparation in detail. As far as the written test is concerned, she suggested that both accumulation and surprise recitation should be done with both hands. In terms of arranging preparation time, she recommended reviewing the written test and preparing for the interview at the same time. For the case study part, she emphasized that when asking questions and answering questions, you should grasp the time for answering questions, and the wording should be concise while inspiring the audience to resonate. Hu Yu pointed out that the heart-to-heart conversation was the most variable part of the inspection method, and she gave comprehensive suggestions on the aspects of conversation atmosphere, language expression, emotional control, work accumulation, progress advancement, and summary. Finally, she expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Engineering, the college and the school.

After thanking the teachers for their company, guidance and encouragement, Meiheriguli·Abduwaili, a full-time counselor for minority students, shared her experience of participating in the education story sharing meeting of college counselors in Hubei Province. When explaining how to select stories, her on-site interaction with the participating counselors inspired the enthusiasm of the counselors present. She suggested to leave more traces in our usual work, "bend down to do things, raise your head to tell stories", to reflect the warmth and kindness of human nature in the stories, and to show the education of love. When explaining how to write a story, she emphasized the need to be meticulous and reminded that you should pay attention to the text limitations of the rematch. She shared her experience of constantly revising her speeches under the guidance of leading teachers. In the end, she told the education story of "We are all a family" on the spot, reproduced the game scene, and deepened the counselors and teachers' understanding of the education story sharing session.

Finally, Li Xianling, deputy director of the Ideological and Political Department of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee, made a concluding speech. She expressed her gratitude and encouragement to the keynote speakers. She pointed out that the counselor quality ability competition was an important platform to show counselors' personal comprehensive quality and test their theoretical knowledge level and practical work skills. To stand out in the competition, you must strengthen your study, deepen your thinking and summary of the work, and form your own professional quality and ability. She also pointed out that the education story sharing session shared the touching stories of counselors caring and caring for students in an all-round way, educating and guiding students to grow up healthily and becoming adults and talents. If the counselor hadn't approached the students, cared for the students, educated and served the students, it would be impossible to have a touching education story. Education is the education of love. She hoped the counselors would stick to the student-centered approach, carry out "warm education", be good at summarizing and refining stories of educating people, master the skills of sharing stories, and share the ideas and experiences of educating people through stories, provide role models and demonstrations for the ideological and political education of college students.
