“Employment”is not only closely connected with graduates, but also related to every family, even influencing social stability as well. However, owing to hindered economic development and booming number of graduates, university students’ employment situation becomes increasingly serious, which makes it harder for university students to get a job. Consequently, College of Economics & Business Management of CCNU attaches greater importance to graduates’ employment. In order to relieve their pressure, College of Economics & Business Management held a meeting and organized courses surrounding college assignments and students cultivation, hoping to offer help for graduates’ employment.
the Whole College’s Strength Converges, Assisting Dreams to Come True
On 2:30 p.m. of April 20,2022, College of Economics & Business Management held graduate employment promotion meeting of grade 2022 in room 10060, Nanhu comprehensive building, in which undergraduates and postgraduates’ employment situation, as well as assignment of graduate employment promotion was reported and discussed. The meeting involved Qin Shitai, deputy director of the Employment Department of Office of Student Affairs of CCNU, Nie Yaohua, Secretary of the Party committee of College of Economics & Business Management, Tu Zhengge, chairman of College of Economics & Business Management, Yan Lili, organizer of the college, Zhou Weidi, Chen Shuyun, vice chairman, heads of each department, department branch secretaries, representatives of graduates’tutors, counselors and head teachers of undergraduates of grade 2018, and was hosted by Chen Juan, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the college. Not only did it embodied that College of Economics & Business Management took graduate employment seriously, but also showed deep love between teachers and students of College of Economics & Business Management.
Living in Youth and Flourishing Age, Taking Fighting as Right Action
On 6:10 p.m. of April 29th, education of ideal and faith and career planning courses of undergraduates of grade 2021 of our college was held successfully in room N119 of Nanhu comprehensive building, which was taught by Lei Xiaoting, an undergraduate counselor of grade 2021, and Chen Ruiliang, a part-time counselor of grade 2018, involving all undergraduates of grade 2021. The courses helped students to make proper career planning based on personal orientation, exerting important influence on students’ improvement of aim and plan of future development, and their competitiveness.
Make Our Youth More Brilliant, Make Resumes More Outstanding
On 5:30 p.m. of May 1, educational activities course with topic of job application targeted at undergraduates of grade 2019 of College of Economics & Business Management was held successfully in room N223 of Nanhu comprehensive building, which was delivered by Zhao Wan, a counselor of grade 2019. The main part of the course was “the real thing” about resume design, which was aimed at providing a learning and communicating platform on making and designing of resume for students, improving students’ employment competence.
Giving Guidance with Pertinence, Enabling Us to Look Forward to Future
Recently, our college carried out “five tips that should be referred to” activity aimed at graduates, which was a tradition of our school. The activity was led by Chen Juan, Deputy Secretary of CPC, who made it more delicate and warmer. Chen Juan mainly had one-to-one conversations with more than 20 students who tended to avoid employment and falsely prepare for postgraduate entrance examination for the second time. When talking about employment policies and the situation of students attending the postgraduate entrance examination for the second time, she put herself in students’ positions, analyzed pros and cons, and pointed out students’ feeling of slacking off, expressing warmth to students and promoting them to grow when graduation was on the corner.
As the proverb goes, which was said by Zheng Xuan from Catalogue of the Book of Rites, “What is called “Da Xue(university)” benefits governing owing to its erudition.” When we observe the present situation, we can connect “govern”with “employment”. Nowadays, College of Economics & Business Management of CCNU commits to practically solving employment challenge which students are concerned and worried about most, instead of only paying attention to their time in school, exerting more profound influence on their future. Education requires warmth besides seriousness. CCNU strive to convey care and love to every graduates, offer further support to graduates with practical action, helping every student to achieve their dreams. We believe that the situation of employment of graduates will make a breakthrough with teachers’ undertaking and dedicating.
