The Voice of CCNU In order to welcome the upcoming tenth college counselor quality and ability competition of Hubei province, share knowledge and skills of participating, accumulate competition experience and promote the friendship between students’ affairs teams from two colleges, the preparation sharing meeting connecting Central China Normal University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law was held in auditorium on the first floor of science hall of CCNU on April 13th. Li Xianling, deputy director of the Ideological and Political Department of office of student affairs of the Party committee of CCNU, Ge Ming, deputy director of office of student affairs of the Party committee and the people's Armed Forces Department of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and more than 10 contestants and staff of the two universities attended.
Wei Lu, Hu Yu, Li Jindu of CCNU and Huang Zhenhui, Zhu Jingjing, Guo Qingchuan of ZUEL, who were divided into three groups, had a friendly competition on case study. After the competition, they shared reflection on theory learning and routine of counselor, and preparation experience of the quality and ability competition. The received wisdom was that counselors should attach great importance to competition for practice and training, competition to promote studying and construction, pay attention to basic knowledge accumulation in normal times and work steadily and carefully, who built confidence and dared to perform themselves on the basis of understanding rules and content of counselor quality and ability competition.
Li Xianling, deputy director of the Ideological and Political Department of office of student affairs of the Party committee of CCNU, expressed welcome to delegation of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and made remarks about the performance of competitors. She thought, when studying cases, they should overall, systematically and completely expound the essential issues referred to in these cases from macro, medium and micro perspectives, accurately determine the quality and quantity, achieving staying on the topic.
Ge Ming, deputy director of office of student affairs of the Party committee and the people's Armed Forces Department of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, expressed thanks to fellow in CCNU. She pointed out that case studying is an important part of counselor quality and ability competition, in which two competitors analyze reasons, discuss solutions and summarize the rules together around cases with the way of “I ask, and you answer”. Therefore, competitors should be good at asking questions, presenting the ability to deeply thinking and accurate analysis on the basis of getting rid of stylization. When answering, be careful so as to catch contradiction in information, striving to answer accurately and perfectly. At the same time, grasp the inspecting purpose of this part, combine analyzing reasons, discussing solutions and summarizing the rules, ultimately refer to cultivate talents and combine working ways and working effects.
