The spring in Wuhan should have lit up everyone’s face, nevertheless, the pandemic of the COVID-19 has changed everything. Almost every citizen in Wuhan wears masks to protect themselves from the virus. And with no other option, CCNU took the measure of lockdown in order to prevent the spread of the pandemic. It seemed that residents in Guizi Mountain would be in total silence.
武汉的春天本来应该给每个人的脸上带来笑容，然而，新冠疫情已改变了一切。几乎每个武汉市民都戴上了口罩来保护自己免受病毒侵扰。为了防止疫情的蔓延，华师别无选择，只能采取封校的措施。似乎桂子山的山民都将陷入沉寂。
I must tell you that the virus may lock our city and our school, but it cannot stop each and every student in CCNU from living up to their youth. As a member of the School of Economics and Business Administration of CCNU, I’m delighted to see that my classmates never let the virus beat their passion and optimism. At the beginning of April, our school held competitions of sit-ups and pull-ups. Students in each class spared no effort to make their own class proud. The refreshing breeze on the playground witnessed the boys’ pursuit of persistence and firmness while they were doing pull-ups. The lovely sparrows on the treetops heard the girls’ thrilled cries to congratulate their friends on their achievements while they were doing sit-ups. The sun gave out lights in CCNU but was not as dazzling as our students' youth.
但我必须告诉你：病毒可能会封锁我们的城市和学校，却不能阻止华师的每一位学子不负韶华。作为华师经济与工商管理学院的成员，我很高兴能看到我的同学从未被病毒击垮他们的热情与乐观。初到四月，我们学院举办了仰卧起坐和引体向上比赛。每个班的学生都不遗余力地为自己的班级争得荣耀。做引体向上的男子汉们，操场上清爽的微风已见证他们对坚毅的追求；做仰卧起坐的小姐姐们，树梢上惹人爱的麻雀听到她们庆祝同伴取得佳绩而发出激动的叫声。阳光给予华师光亮,却未能像我们华师学子的青春一样耀眼。
This activity showed our infinite vitality. What’s more, it was vivid proof that pandemic would not weaken our power of youth. The spring breeze brings vitality in Wuhan, and we are looking forward to the day when we can leave our school to admire the spring scenery！
这次活动彰显了我们华师学子的无限活力，更重要的是，它生动地证明疫情不会削弱我们青春的力量。春风带来武汉的生机，而我们也期待可以早日走出校门，欣赏大好春光！
