As spring returns to the earth, everything comes back to life. To gain a better understanding of undergraduates' study and life after the start of the new spring semester, implement the requirements of dormitory epidemic prevention and control, and raise awareness of dormitory safety and prevention. In the morning of February 25, Dean Hu Zongshan, Vice Dean Huang Huixiang, Director of the Office of Party and Government, Li Jing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Wei Lu, and Undergraduate Teaching Secretary Chen Shuyu of the School of Political Communication visited the dormitories of undergraduates.

New semester, new look. With the arrival of the new semester, a new round of studies will begin and students will be faced with a heavier class load than before. During the visit, Dean Hu and other college leaders asked students about their studies in the last semester and their plans and arrangements for the new semester. Dean Hu stressed that due to the relatively tight academic schedule of the new semester, it is normal for some students to be anxious and nervous as they are not able to fully adapt quickly. Dean Hu encouraged students to learn how to regulate their emotions, to be optimistic and rational about the difficulties they meet in their studies or life, to actively seek solutions to problems, to adapt to the pace of study and life, and to meet the new semester in the best condition. Of course, if you meet difficulties that are hard to deal with or solve by yourself, you should reflect them to your counselor or college leaders in time and actively seek help to overcome them. Finally, Dean Hu expressed his earnest expectations for the students, hoping that they would cherish their youthfulness in the new semester, firmly believe in their ideals, study diligently, learn well, consolidate their professional foundation and accumulate energy for advancement; at the same time, he also encouraged them to focus on refining their character and will, strive to grow and become successful, and show the vigorous and progressive spirit of the students of the School of Political Communication.

With care and expectations, the leaders of the College visited the student dormitories one by one. During the visit, Dean Hu and Dean Huang patiently inquired about the students' adaptation to life, carefully inspected the environmental health and electrical safety of the dormitories, and appreciated and praised the construction of a diverse cultural atmosphere in the dormitories. Dean Huang mentioned that students should pay attention to maintaining the hygiene of the dormitory, clean it regularly, ventilate it more often and create a good living and studying environment together. At the same time, students should pay attention to the safe use of electricity in the dormitory, strictly abide by the requirements and regulations of the university and college on the use of electricity in the dormitory, use electrical appliances correctly, do not use high-powered illegal electrical appliances, and protect their safety and that of others. In addition, spring is the season for colds and flu, so students should pay attention to increasing and decreasing their clothing according to the weather conditions and strengthen their outdoor exercise to enhance their immunity. As the current situation in Wuhan is complex and volatile, students should not be negligent or lax, and should strictly follow the epidemic prevention and control requirements to take personal protective measures, gather less, wash hands more often, wear masks, and consciously implement the school's epidemic prevention requirements of "not going out of school unless necessary", to be responsible for their safety.
