From July 15 to 16, 26 members of the Shiyan detachment of the Honghu practice team of CCNU, under the joint leadership of Yue Zhengrong, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the school of economics and business administration, and Lei Xiaoting, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee, once again assembled and launched a summer social practice activity of "Volunteer Activities for the Country People" in Yunyang District, Hubei Province.
On the morning of the 15th, the practice team went to Concentric Square for a visit to experience the ecological endowment of Han River Eco-city and the unique natural charm of the landscape pattern and the intermingling of mountains and water. In front of the planning board, Deng Cheng, deputy director of Shiyan High-tech Zone (Han River Eco-city), introduced, "Protection is a prerequisite for development, and high-quality development is for high-level protection. The construction of the Han River Eco-city reflects the Shiyan municipal government's high degree of consciousness of action to faithfully carry out the original mission of 'well keeper' and ensure a reservoir of blue water to be sent north forever." Through on-site communication, the team members learned about the long history of the Han River, the advantages of green development and the future industrial layout of new energy, new materials and biotechnology, and were full of expectations for the development prospects of the Han River Eco-city. At the same time, the team members also deeply realized the importance of green development to economic development and national construction.
On the morning of 15th, the team investigated the current situation of local industry development in Yang District and visited Hao Shuo Technology (Wan Run New Energy) Planning and Construction Center, Xin Lan Yuan Oil Olive Technology Co. The team visited and studied the production process, workshop division and operation process of the three enterprises. Ltd., the team also learned about the introduction of olive, the development process and its efficacy, derivative products and so on. During the visit, the team members felt the driving effect of science and technology development on the real economy, and also deeply appreciated the important role of special industries on rural revitalization and economic development.
In Jiuluo maker space and Shiyan staff innovation and entrepreneurship creation center, the members of the practice team learned to understand the operation process of the scientific and Technological Innovation Incubation Platform and the construction process of the model worker's ingenuity studio. During the visit and study, the team members deeply realized the great significance of innovation to industrial progress and economic development, and personally felt the key role of entrepreneurship and creation in enriching villagers and Revitalizing Villages.
On the afternoon of the 16th, the members of the practice team came to Yunyang Museum by car to understand the ancient city of Yunyang, which has a continuous line of life, a continuous layer of culture and a continuous generation of history. At the same time, the team members also walked into the story of Yang Xianzhen, Secretary of the Party committee and President of the former senior party school directly under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, to understand the life stories of our ancestors and learn their spiritual character.
In Yunyang revolutionary martyrs cemetery, the team members reviewed the oath of joining the regiment under the martyrs' monument. "Bear hardships first, enjoy later, and strive for the cause of communism". In the face of the league flag, the oath is sonorous, and it conveys the determination of the Communist Youth League members in the new era to move forward and build the country. Then, the team members walked into the martyrs' Memorial Hall. The exhibits on display and the stories on the wall told the hardship and righteousness of that era in every frame. They inspired the team members to carry on the past and forge ahead into the future and devote themselves to the socialist modernization drive.
Shiyan Branch of Honghu practice team of CCNU focuses on the theme of rural revitalization, goes deep into the grass-roots level to conduct investigation and research, gives full play to the social service function, and feels the important practical significance of characteristic industries to rural economic development while being close to the reality of enterprises and understanding local customs.
