The Voice of CCNU On the afternoon of March 27, the sharing session of "Plan the Career, Never Be Confused", the first lecture of “Liren Academy” at CCNU was held in the lecture hall 842 of School of Journalism and Communication at No.9 Teaching Building as scheduled. Professor Lang Dongpeng, deputy director of the Student Affairs Department of CCNU and an expert in career education and guidance, was invited as the guest speaker. The graduates from the School of Journalism and Communication, the School of Information Management and the School of Music attended this lecture. The lecture was presided over by Li Hong, a graduate counselor of the School of Journalism and Communication.
At the beginning of the lecture, Li Hong introduced the purpose and the learning content of the lecture. She said that in the face of the new situation and new problems of employment work, Lang Dongpeng was invited to “Liren Academy” in order to provide advice and guidance for students on career development, occupation selection and employment. And she hoped that the majority of students would understand the law of career development, make scientific decisions, and change their concept of employment, establishing a correct concept of career development, employment and career selection and internalizing as well as externalizing the valuable knowledge learned from the lecture.
Then, Lang dongpeng started his lecture with the beginning of the introduction of the origin of "Liren Academy". He believed that the pursuit of life was nothing more than the maximization of the individual life value, which was reflected in the sense of others, namely the sense of "Li Ren". Consequently, in the process of career development, employment and career choice, exploring ourselves, figuring out ourselves, and finding our own meaning and value constantly coincided with the concept of "Li Ren".
After that, Lang Dongpeng interpreted his lecture content from three aspects: “the correct understanding of career”, “career decision-making methods” and “employment is an attitude”. First of all, he clarified the connotation of "career", and summarized the career in terms of the elements of career, the contingency of career choice and so on, helping students understand the career correctly. He pointed out that there were many perspectives and ways to make good career decisions, and the exploration and identification of advantages was the latest achievement and relatively feasible method for human beings to understand career choices. He expressed that students should keep happy, skillful, and suitable to their own occupation choice. Finally, he explained the concept of employment attitude choice, and stressed the importance of the Autumn Recruitment, "the Autumn Recruitment contains about 80% of employment opportunities, so you may well make early plans."
At the end of the lecture, Li Hong expressed his gratitude to Lang Dongpeng for his sharing of the perplexities and difficulties of career choice with the students. Through this lecture, the students had a newer and deeper understanding of their career path and choice.
It was reported that this lecture was organized by the Student Affairs Department of CCNU and undertaken by the Graduate Association of the School of Journalism and Communication and the Graduate Association of the School of Information Management jointly, the Center for Career Education and Development, the Center for College Students' Learning and Development, the Graduate Association of the College of Music and the Graduate Association of the College of Physical Science and technology took part in the organization as co-organizers.
