The Voice of CCNU-On April 28, 2021, Cao Shurui, the student of CCNU, participated in the Competition of Wuhan Excellent Propagandist of Recruitment Policy as a student representative. He won the third prize and was named as "Wuhan excellent propagandist of recruitment policy". Sponsored by the recruitment office of Wuhan Municipal People's Government, the event was held on the 4th floor of the office building in the garrison command. A total of 25 student representatives from 25 districts participated in the event. The competition set 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes.
The competition was mainly organized in the form of simulative propaganda. It aimed to publicize the policy and significance of joining the army in the understandable way, stimulate the college students, especially college graduates, to join the army and make them yearn for the army and join the military.
As a member of the station of recruitment work of CCNU, Cao Shurui from the school of School of Information and Communication introduced the development of soldiers who were college students such as Wu ye, Deng Ying and Li Rui, and the advantages of college students’ joining the army from the perspective of the current employment status in China. Later, Cao Shurui explained profoundly the positive effect of joining the army on personal development. In his point of view, the training subjects such as queue, physical fitness and tactics in the military camp were "the perfect embodiment of strength and beauty". College students could gain both improvement in physical fitness and temperament in such training. In addition, the high-intensity training in the military camp could not only temper the will of college students, but also cultivate deep relationship between the comrades.
Cao Shurui also elaborated the special preferential policies for soldiers who were college students and the advantages for soldiers who were college students to step into the society according to the settlement policy for ex-servicemen. Finally, Cao Shurui expounded the significance of college students' joining the army for the construction of national military and the construction of modern combat system with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of national development, and called on young people to actively join the army and undertake the mission entrusted by the Communist Party of China and the people.
CCNU has been actively responding to the call of our country, encouraging college students to sign up for the army through speech contest, campus propaganda and supporting policies. In 2017, CCNU specially formulated the "implementation measures for the recruitment of college students of CCNU" to promote the recruitment work by awarding honorary titles, subsidies and awards to college students who were drafted into the army.
